Camping Kit (Sleeping Bag/Backpack, Campfire, and Smores Roasting Set)

8.00

Step-by-step instructions and detailed illustrations walk you through creating a clever carrier for Fletcher Fox that doubles as his sleeping bag, plus a fun fabric campfire, skewers, and all the fixings to make pretend s'mores! Three flat-bottomed fabric logs connect to the stuffed flames with hook and loop fasteners, and are perfectly sized to fit into the headrest of Fletcher's 2-in-1 Sleeping Bag Backpack. Clever fleece marshmallows slide on and off the skewers, which have built-in elastic straps that fit perfectly over stuffed animal paws. The set includes instructions to make the 2-in-1 Sleeping Bag Backpack, a fabric campfire flame and three logs, two toasting skewers, two marshmallows, two bars of chocolate, and four graham crackers. The backpack opens and closes with easy-to-use hook and loop closures, and is stabilized by simply inserting a plastic canvas sheet between the layers. Adjustable backpack straps are easy to make by hooking 'D' rings onto webbing straps.

This pattern is ideal for a confident beginner.
