Fletcher is the perfect companion for both real and imaginary adventures! Lovingly stitched together with three colors of fleece, he is perfectly soft and squishy and engagingly three-dimensional—but his back, tummy, limbs, tail and ears are just pairs of sewn pieces. You'll be surprised how quickly these components stitch together.
In this pair of downloadable PDF patterns, I'll take you through the process of making Fletcher Fox, plus a pair of bespoke pajamas he can wear to any sleepover—with clear instructions and detailed, illustrated steps. The templates are full-sized and don't require a seam allowance.
Fletcher's lined pajama shirt is trimmed with an ornate pocket and tab collars, and discreetly joined at the top with a circle hook and loop fastener—but you're welcome to substitute buttons and button holes for older children. The pants have a custom designed tail hole and stretchy elastic waist for a perfect fit.
Both patterns are ideal for a confident beginner; if you've made a stuffed animal before you're ready to stitch Fletcher.
